The Umeå-based game studio Coldwood took the gaming world by storm with the launch of Unravel. Both the main character Yarny and the scenic Västerbotten environments of the game found success among both critics and players.
Norrlandsoperan
Norrlandsoperan exists to create space for bolder performing arts and a braver society – where more people have the opportunity to think, feel, act and experience something new. They offer opera, orchestra concerts, music, dance and art, with the main focus on the Västerbotten region, but operate in the four northernmost counties, with a special focus on children and youths.
